Our Story

Fancy Pants was founded by Britney Bragagnolo, a mom who brings European quality and service to the Canadian market for children’s clothing, toys and gifts.

Several years ago, Britney and her husband spent a year living and working in Europe. During that time, she fell in love with the family-oriented culture, its languages, the delicious food—but most of all, the fashion. The quality, originality, and timelessness of each piece was exceptional and far beyond anything available back in Canada. At the end of their time abroad, Britney vowed to return each year.

After having two children of her own, Britney felt frustrated over the lack of options and quality in the children’s clothing stores available close to home. Furthermore, the experience of purchasing the clothing was often disappointing and impersonal. Hearing the same sentiments expressed by other parents, she sought to bring Europe’s most respected children’s clothing brands—along with the exceptional shopping experience—back home to Burlington.
